Mohbad Was A Street, Unlike Davido Who Easily Has It All | The Nigeria News

Wazobia Fm news producer Ikechukwu Onyemike has delved into the trending Mohbad story who is decreased to be precise, to ikechukwu he believes Mohbad was a street guy, who rose from nothing to something, unlike a Davido who easily have it all.

He revealed this on the Newsroom show with Ufoma Egbamuna, he said “The difference between a Davido and Mohbad is that phrase, from nothing to something, that street sense of things” 

He continued saying “Davido is from a rich background, he could easily press forward, but Mohbad became something from nothing, especially in a place like Ikorodu. 

The recent development has evolved around the death of the last rising star, mohbad, who’s death currently is under investigation by the Nigeria Police Force, of which allegedly media reports has also said his corpse may be exhumed.  

Ikechukwu continued by describing how Ikorodu has also contributed to the music industry in Nigeria,

“Ikorodu is more like backward part of Lagos, it’s a place people can call home, not really trenches but the mindset people has is for someone to come from that part and become something is really commendable” 

While he confirms he’s from Ikorodu, he also list out talents who have come from Ikorodu, mentioning the likes of, Qdot, Zlatan, Seyi vibes, and the now deceased Mohbad, without forgetting Nigeria football star, Asisat Oshoala
